I love the colours of late winter and early spring when the ground and the rain warms up. The grass starts to grow again and the bark changes colour, while the branches start to fill with bud. I enjoy walking this little Combe as the changing light always makes it look different each time I visit. The clouds sweep through and blend into the landscape and you can sometimes hear the distant and distinctive sound of the waves shifting the shingle. There is something quite special about being in a Combe close by the sea, best of both worlds.
