This triptych painting of  "Gully Lane" is part of a series of commision's for a private collector. I did this last triptych still with the feelings, colours and the mood of late autumn and the sense of stillness that comes with this time of year. I walk along this lane every day with my dog and have struggled to catch the hedgerow and trees in the summer, but with the stripped back skeleton of the trees and hedgerow I finally managed to capture it.
